The Way it Works!
Over the years we had created a system of prizes which allowed any user to pick and choose which area of the game they wanted to focus on each period and win. With increased competition, and many great ideas from our own players we have now devised a Championship Points system that turns the focus on excelling at the entire game.
The way it works is simple. Every medal you win now at Topshift each period goes toward a Game Score. For Example, winning a circuit event equals 12 points toward that months score. A top team member icon equals another 2 and so on. The member in each period who collects the MOST points in total wins the First Place Prize for that round, then second highest points wins the next prize and etc.
With this system we are creating a more rounded game experience as the whole game needs to be played and mastered.
Please Note: Just because we are giving away points DOES NOT mean that Medal Prizes and Credit Prizes have been removed. Please read the complete prize section as there have been many significant changes to the system. In each section there is an Icon Legend and what the Icon is now worth in points.
Championship Season
We have decided to take the point system to another level by adding a Championship Season. From the FIRST full game period in each year to the LAST full period in that same year, we will be adding up each months points total. At the end of the Entire Game Season, the person who has the most points OVERALL in the year will win a Grand Prize that will be announced in December!
