Frequently Asked Questions
SECURITY and LEGAL
Is using your credit card safe over
the internet?
Although no
transaction is ever 100% secure. Using a
credit card over the internet is as safe as going to the store.
All our
Payment processors use advanced technology to encrypt
all personal data such as address, passwords and credit card information. We use secure socket layer (SSL) software is
the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure
transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit
card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information
travels over the Internet.
What do you do about
cheaters?
We
use security functions which detects cheaters in real-time. Any player
suspected of cheating is immediately disqualified from a competition. If it is
found that the player is, in fact, cheating, their account will be revoked and
scores and winnings will be voided. These rules are subject to our terms and conditions.
I am being harassed by
other users, how can I stop this?
It
is very important to us to keep the site fun and courteous and pleasant for all
who play here.
In the future, if there is unacceptable behavior, it helps us to have a screen
shot of the conversation. A screen shot is an image of what it displayed on
your monitor- like a picture of a monitor at a specific time. To take a screen
shot and save it as a bmp image, follow these steps:
On your keyboard, press the Control (or Ctrl) key, then the Print Screen (or
Prt Scr) key. This will make a copy of what you are seeing on your monitor at
that time.
Next open Windows Paint or some other graphics tool. Create a new document.
Click on Edit, and Paste, Pasting the copy of the screen into the new bmp
document. Save the bmp document with an appropriate name (it may be easier to
find if you save it on the desktop).
Then attach the document to an email, and send it to support@corruptinteractive.com . We will get
the image of what you have seen on your monitor.
Do you have a fair play
policy?
Yes,
we have invested a great deal of time and resources to ensure that our members
are getting an honest and fair game each and every game. We understand that
your money is on the line and if you are not confident in our software then
nobody wins in the long run. We are in the business of providing fair and
equitable player-to-player tournament software. Because our members are not
playing against the "house" our concern is not who wins the game but
that each player has an equal opportunity at winning.
Server-Based Game Logic: The rules and scoring for all of our games
takes place on our secure game servers. This means that a hacker cannot use a
"robot player" or otherwise fake the results of one of our games.
Encryption and pattern-detection algorithms help us immediately detect anyone
who tries to tamper with one of our games or network messages. Many other sites
are completely unprotected in this manner, with the score being generated on
the client side and then just sent to the server, making it impossible to tell
if your opponent's score was achieved fairly.
The combination of these features has established us as the most secure,
trustworthy, and impartial tournament gaming system on the Internet.
If you suspect unfairness or cheating of any kind, contact Customer Service. We
will immediately investigate your concerns.
